woo! RI won the Singapore Secondary Schools debating championships on friday!
it was totally awesome! i hope i could be a part of the team next year!
the finals were so cool, seriously, dun even know how to say liao.
around 50 plus people went for the finals and after we won the championship, all of us sang the school song outside the hall and lots of people looked at us.
freaking cool! woo! really hope i can also be part of the tean next year....... must train extra extra extra hard!
saturday was parent teacher meeting, there was some parents that were really funny
example 1:
*me walks to 2 other guys in juinor block*
*a mother approaches us* "who's in charge?"
*i point to the other guys*
"aiyou, no more cups at the drink liao eh! how come?*
one of the two guys" ma'am, i not in charge of the cups, i also dun know how come no cups liao"
"huh!? i am going to reflect that!"*walks away angrily*
me "what the heck!"
seriously, how many schools offer drinks during parent teacher meetings, appreciate what you got. come on, so what if no more cups? reflect every small thing ah, who do you think you are? so arrogant sia.
most of the parents were nice people though, with a few expectations.
lol, i was so cynical that day.
