today i shall talk about generation gap
wow...am i rebelling now? :0
anyway
the ideals and actions of parents and children is incommensurable
whatever the child is going through, the parent do not know about and do not understand.
how many of us shares our problems with parents? very very little.
why? we think that they dont understand us.
they do not know whats happening in school, what do we value most.... etc etc
although they can, but most of us choose not to...
anyway...some parents say that they are children once. true, but their times is different from ours. can i say that "i have been to africa 30 years ago, therefore, i know what is it like to be in africa now" things change... very drastically too
ok
what i am saying here is that they dont understand.. but they still might be right...after all, they are more experienced in life. however, we will only know whos correct, when we are old and have gone past both the child and parent phrase.Labels: contemplations
